For Teachers

Volunteering at High School Park is an excellent way for your students to contribute to their community while learning about native plants and habitats.

Contact us at volunteer@fhsp.org to arrange a volunteer work session in the spring or fall. You may qualify to adopt an area of the park that you restore and monitor over time.

Students 12 and older are appropriate. We require one teacher or parent for every eight students. A volunteer will orient you ahead of time. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring water and work gloves. We provide additional tools and instruction.
